Okay for all of the late nighters.... What shall I do with my hair...
Especially for a redhead. I have had "virgin hair" all of my life. One time I had a few highlights done (rebel that I am). I have held on to my hair as my mom told me to never ever change it. I am really loving a brunette look right now. I remember Lindsay Lohan doing a nice brunette shade and I am a very similar color/skin tone to what she is.
I welcome any suggestions. Here I am as an old pic (but basically I am the same shade). I really need a guidance as where to go with my hair. Image Attachment(s):

I wouldn't change the color - it's beautiful - maybe cut a few inches and put in some long layers?

i would say some platinum highlights would be nice, BUT since fall is approaching i would say go dark!!!!

I'm sorry, I'm going to agree with the others. I wish I had natural red hair (or any color other than super dark brown).
Your hair is beautiful...don't change it!
Maybe do a non-permanent color (like a rinse) to see if you like it...
But a nice cut should make that hair pop.

Thanks for all the feedback. As a natural redhead, I am frequently confused. I love brunette/blond tones but never had any real guidance.
I never know which way to go Lighter/dark? Too confusing to me.

I love the Julianne Moore pics that Sasha posted. I don't think you should change your hair color at all. One of my sisters has the same hair color as you. She darkened it and now completely regrets it.

In the top pic, Julianne Moore has blond highlights with a bright red. You can try that.
Or you can go reddish-brown a la Lindsay...
She has blonde highlights in this one...

I love reddish brown. Just so scared on what colors it will take away. I have never ever died my hair. I just had a few very mild highlights at one point.
I love all your suggestions!!!!!
Now, if I could only find one of you to take to the hairdressers with me.......
