How did you tell DH you were pregnant
Did you do it in a special way???

Left this on his tools :) It was right after Hurricane Ivan and we had no power or AC and a slighty damaged house but just got back from a nice evacuation to Disney World. We were trying and I took numerous tests at WDW but they didn't come back positive till I was about a week late and after I dragged branches and plywood around....

I found out I was preggo about a week or so before Christmas so I bought an ornament that said "Parents-to-Be" wrapped it up and gave it to DH when he came home from work. I told him it was an early Christmas gift-he was shocker-I had just stopperd the pill and we were only casually ttc that month.

I rolled up his silverware in an "I LOVE MY DADDY" bib. It was great. For the second, I had my son greet him with an "I'm the big brother" Tshirt. For my third, our eldest son slipped and told him lol

I found out I was pregnant on 12/23 last year; I decided I was going to keep the news to myself until Christmas morning. So, on Christmas Eve I bought about 6 more tests (!) and a "Merry Christmas Daddy" card. Took the tests--the last of which Christmas morning.

I decided that since my DH didn't even really know we were trying, the baby would probably grow up fatherless because DH would have had a heart attack upon reading the card; plus, I guess we're not an "emotional" couple like that...so I ditched the card, came out of the bathroom, test in hand, jumped in the bed and said, "Guess what?"

Well, I still have the card for this year
