Things to avoid when Pregnant..
So besides the obvious of not drinking, and smoking what else are you aware of thats bad for the baby?
Charlys post taught me not to have my feet rubbed during pedicures ( I never knew this)
Share please other things that others might not know!

well since I posted this question yesterday, I know for sure that tanning salons are a big 'no-no' and tanning in general, we should proceed with caution!

TMI but did you know that during oral sex and man should never blow air into the vagina when a womans pregnant?
I dont know why a man would be blowing air in there anyways but I have read this a few times in several books...

Besides the food restrictions (which every doctor has different views on), I was told not to use electric heating pads or electric blankets.

Why is this?
I've heard so far:
No soft cheeses even though the cheeses from here are pasteurized and then it's fine. But they said it's best to avoid it altogether. International soft cheeses should be avoided.
Soft cheeses such as: feta (goat cheese)
brie, Camembert, and blue-veined cheeses, like Roquefort
No hot dogs
No Shark, Mackerel, or Tuna. If you eat tuna, only eat it once a week.
Sausages
Deli meat
Under cooked meat like beef and chicken
Pates
Ready to eat cold seafood
Raw eggs and raw egg dishes
Raw seafood, especially shellfish
