Moms of Babies (Girls esp.) Who Are Being Christened in the Summer..
...What are you doing about footwear?
Are you just putting shoes on them? Frilly socks? No socks?
I'm definetly not doing tights in July!
I just thought about this.

Julia was baptized in Sept of last year, and it was a very hot day we picked.
I just put her dress on w/ out tights and little white booties with no socks, her dress was so long anyway that you couldn't see her shoes.
I also bought a change of clothes with us to the after party so she would be comfy.

My DD's Baptism is this sunday. I bought her lightweight nylon socks with a light ruffle to go under her shoes. The church and restaurant are both in air condition. I'm putting a sleeveless cotton onesie on under her dress but def no tights.........

I'm probably doing just white frilly socks. My daughter wears size 0 shoes, and I haven't seen any decent ones that I like in her size. I'm not putting tights on her, and I probably won't do a onesie either since her gown is long sleeved and her baptism is in July.

Sofia was just baptized this past memorial daty weekend and i remember it was in the 80"s that day. She only had her gown on and no socks/shoes. I think it is too much for the summer especially coz the gown is probably going to be warm for her.
