Saratoga Springs Racetrack...Quick quesiton if you've been.
Ok, really stupid question. I've never been. What do you wear? I need to know what to pack! Thanks so much ladies! I know I can count on someone here to help

i used to go when I was younger - I remember if you are hanging out in the picnic area wear shorts and a tee - but if you want to go to the fancy area (I forgot what its called) you have to be dressed up.
did you try their website?

I don't know if all the tracks are the same or not...but when I lived in Jersey we used to go to the Medowlands. We would eat in the fancy restaurant where you had to look decent. Outside of the restaurant, it was very casual.

This is true. I worked in Saratoga for a few summers. I used to wear a sundress and get the more expensive seats, but for the cheapest admission it is really anything goes. You'll see people in cutoffs and tanks, and people in suits and dresses.

Saratoga Springs is a little classier than Bellmont. I went to school nearby and we would wear cute preppy-ish clothes (think J. Crew or a Ralph Laruen Polo and capris).

let me just start by saying FUN FUN FUN!
capris and polos are fine, depending on when you are going, there is one weekend that has hat day and all the ladies where big fancy hats and stuff, but its pretty casual.
make sure you get to ciro's after the races for some drinks and clams!

I was just there three weeks ago...it was a hot day and I wore capris and a tank top...there was everything there... people in shorts, sneakers, girls in dresses and heels...you name it.
It can get kind of muddy in places and it had rained when we were there so I wouldn't suggest the nicest shoes or white pants...
Its a great place....lots of fun.

Growing up Saratoga really ruined racing for me... I used to live upstate and on opening day it would be on TV ALL DARN DAY... I was a kid...I wanted to watch cartoons...not dressed up ladies with big hats! 
I agree with everyone else on what to wear.
