A Dilemma...help! UPDATE below - more help needed 9/15
I *think* AF may come last night. Sorry if TMI. When I peed last night there was a little pink blood. Then this morning I have nothing but very very faint brown spotting.
I am supposed to go for blood tests on the 3rd day of my period. Which, if it really does come today, would be Friday. That's fine. But I can't stand this spotting stuff! We are supposed to go away this weekend and then I won't be able to go Saturday.....if I miss this month, I have to wait til October.
What should I do? I've had weird light AFs like this in the past..
ETA: I tested this am again and it was BFN.

Darn Jen I was hoping you would get a bfp.... well I don't know what is going on but sometimes I will be like that the first day, light and spotty, then have it kick in full blast. I would call about the testing and ask what they suggest. Maybe later today you will have a better idea of what's going on down there...!

I went through all those tests too, plus I tended to spot before my period, and the nurse at the RE's office told me that the first day of "red flow" counts as day 1.
I HATED having to "guess" day 1 like that. It just seemed like an inexact science to me.

I just called my dr's office and i am having the blood test done Friday. The nurse said I should count today as day 1.

They look to make sure that your lining thinned appropriately by day 3. I am glad they wont be ruining your w/e but if the lining is a little too thick make sure to point out to them that your day 1 was very light.

Ok so, here's the deal.
Tuesday night I got what I thought was AF, pink spotting.
Wednesday i had NOTHING but very very faint brown spotting. Barely there.
Today, nothing. Teeny bit of brown.
I'm supposed to go to the doctor tomorrow for my 3rd day of AF blood test and now I don't know what to do. I feel like AF will come on strong when I am away this weekend. Who knows, she can come today for all i know.
I'm so confused and I just want to know either way what's going on! Should I still go tomorrow? I took off from work.....

I think you should still go. Is this appt only for blood test? If you are meeting with your doctor I would talk to her/him about what is going on.
Did you test again? Is there any possibility that is it implanation spotting?

Keep your appt and go for the bloodwork. Maybe they can do an HCG test while you're there also.

Keep your appointment and let them know when you get there what the story is. You can ask them to add on a beta to the blood work too. Have you tested with an HPT? It's not uncommon for spotting like you explained and to be PG!

Jen, I don't know what to tell ya.....AF showed up for me this am in full force. I had a colposcopy yesterday so I think that pizzed her off!! No tampons allowed, so it suxs.
I hope the dr. can guide you to do what is best!!
