Anniversary next Saturday and No Gift Ideas

HELP!!

DH and I talked about just doing cards since we don't know if we'll have a baby, be in the hospital having one or still be home waiting.

But I feel like such a lame wife if I don't do something but I have no idea what to get. He's not into sports games, gets all the magazines he wants, I was thinking a watch but I don't know if he'll wear it because he has stopped wearing the sporty watch he had.

Uggghh!!! We are both so hard to buy for that we have really stopped doing the whole gift thing and just get what we want during the year but I feel like I need to do something for our anniversary.

Any ideas would be great.

My SO hates "Stuff" so I always get him something to do--like Broadway tickets or something like that. Since you don't know when the baby is coming, that might not be feasible.

Maybe a portrait of you guys as a family (it will have to be after the baby is born) and frame it really nicely...

Since my niece was born that has been my new gift of choice--a nice pic of her in a great frame.

I'd say with the baby coming and the possibility of it coming on that day, then I think a card is good. You can always do lunch or dinner out after the baby is born. Or a gift certificate for Daddy/Daughter day or schedule a family portrait with a photographer like New Yawkah said.

I was thinking the family portrait or pictures of me and baby but it just won't be on our anniversary.

I guess I'll stick with the cards and write a really nice letter to put inside it.
