Suede or Microfiber couches...
is yours staticy??? I feel like I can't relax on my couch without being shocked!!

I spray leave in conditioner around when things get that bad. Or you could use a dryer sheet on your couch or clothes to cut down on the static

Wow, I never thought of that, DH and I were thinking about buying a microfiber couch because we heard that cats don't like the way they feel.

Soo not true..Our cats love this damn couch. Our little boy has his own spot, where you can pretty much find him at any time of the day.

yes, my cat LOVES my new couch, so does my dogs .. anybody knows a way to keep pets off furnitures, please let me know

We have it and sometimes it is staticky...my hair sticks to it! I rub it down with a dryer sheet!

we got ours in November and we get such bad shocks! But I wasn't thinking it was the couch. DH was going to rewire the whole living room!! Now I have a way to stop him!!!

I just ordered mine, waiting for it to come in. I never thought about it getting staticy. Hope this doesn't happen to me. What does everyone use to clean their couch with?

OMG I cant believe you are saying this right now!!!!!!! Ours was just delivered from Macys a week ago and DH and I have been shocking each other with the static non stop! We are wondering if this is because its new - I guess this lasts forever!?!?!??!
Oh yeah its microfiber.....

i also believe it has to do with where the couch is. Like if your couch is up against the wall or by an outlet the chance of getting shocked is much worse. Does that make sense?
