I feel your pain. Actually, I get 3 free house closings (attorney's fees only) in 5 years as part of my union legal plan. I HATE my own attorneys and will NEVER use them again. They are so F!@#$ing sloooooow. The seller of the house we are buying, I suspect, is stalling and now that we have a buyer for our current house both our buyer and DH and I want this to happen NOW.
No offense to anyone, but on more than one occassion, it's usually been the attorneys I've had to deal with who are the ones who hold up the entire process and this is not limited to house closings.
