anyone know? iplug it it but it wont play or add to the library

I had trouble with this as well, i had to restore the software on the ipod.....but you may lose all your songs so you may want to go onto apples website for support. They have a chat support and can walk you through the process. Hope this helps!

dh bought something that plugs into the usb and can carry the songs over, but you have to drag each one individually and woud take forever.
yeah i did something last night and it erased my whole ipod!!!! luckily i was able to retrieve everything from the original computer
