i have a new pet peeve
Middle aged women that think they're 21 or younger!
I see lots of people everyday at work, and I absolutely can't stand when a Mom brings in her teenaged daughter, and they look like twins.
From the streaky highlights, to the tiffany & co choker, to the abercrombie tee, to the mini-skirt, right down to the wedge sandals and blue toenails (I see this one a lot, actually.) Can't forget the knockoff Coach crayon bags! IMO, perfectly acceptable for a teenager in the summer. NOT SO COOL for her 45 yr old MOTHER!
eta: and MUST every other word be, "cool"?!?

Oh, i totally agree with you. There are plenty of ways for middle aged women to dress stylishly without trying to look like a teenager!
