I get told my shift of 10:30am - 7pm is now 9 - 5:30 because the call center manager feels since I am going to be working "so closely" with the booking manager on "speciality travel" that my hours should mirror hers.
My opinion (if you knew my company) its a load of BS! My company likes to sugar coat things and stroke your ego. They promised this one women who works 12 - 8:30 she could be days. Why me and not her??
So today I also find out the receptionist is now the official Call center coordinator and will be monitering everyone and everything. No idea where that promotion comes from. Didnt know she was even qualified.
I also find out that executive director is flying to Las Vegas on Monday to meet with our "trust company" and the COO is flying out on Tuesday. Both are returning the same day on 2 seperate flights.
The reason things are being speculated is the "trust company" always comes to us. They come every month the week of the 18th and spend 3 days with the executive director, the COO and the call center manager. The call center manager is not going to Vegas. Maybe it's because they need someone from management on site, but it was never an issue before when we had all of senior management out. Now it is....things that make you go hmmmm...
So the puzzle is layed out on the table but the pieces are not being put together.
Any thoughts??? Does this all sound a bit fishy

In my work experience-- when you think something fishy is going on, something generally is.
You should see what happens after this meeting-- but, perhaps it's time to look for something else. There are a lot of jobs out there now-- it's a good time to look for a job.

Thanks. I am going up to NY next weekend and when I return I think I'll be polishing my resume up and see what else is out there. Their is just too many sudden and drastic changes that are not sitting too well with me. Things are just not appearing as they should be. It's really sad because I like some of the peole I work with, just not the management
