Need advice

We accepted an offer last night from a realtor..Yeah..but she told us she would get back to us and hasn't yet. We really wanted to sell on our own but since we advertised through MLSIsland, we had to open ourselves up to the realtor WHICH IS FINE..but is it normal that after you accept you wait to move forward. How long should I wait and do I call her back if I don't hear from her today? Please help!!

Re: Need advice

If you have someone else interested and wanted to offer then I would give her 24 hrs, but call her. If not, you have nothing to lose or gain.

No it was over the phone last night. We've been back and forth with them for the last few weeks and we finally agreed on a price last night.

if i were you, i'd call the realtor, ask for the offer to be put in writing, and ask to see a prequal. also, get their attorney's info (should be on the offer) and make sure that they're on top of getting contracts out to you. have they arranged for an engineer's inspect? also, KEEP SHOWING - that way if something falls through with this offer, you can always get back up offers. hth. good luck.
