Girls night out - where to go?
Omg - I think I'm actually getting a girl's night out!! Next weekend my ILs are coming up so me and my 2 SILs want to go out for a drink...any suggestions of where to go in Nassau?

I've heard of Posh - but never been there...is it a really young crowd? Not in the mood for that type of crowd...

So Mirage would be perfect. Mixed crowd age wise. Its on Merrick Ave. in Westbury.

I think your best bet is Mirage...that place is a lot bigger than Posh and not as snooty.

I don't know how much my SILs will be up for dancing...
Happy hr isn't too clubby. No chairs at the bar but there are couches around. After 8pm it is clubby though.

I went during happy hour last year and didnt like it at all, there was no where to sit, and to me who used to be a club rat, it was clubby and by 8 the crowd totally changed, very young and goomba. but again this was last year on a friday night, 1 of my single gf's swears by that place but on either on ladies night or sat night.
I liked the chelsea street happy hour but now its called Savanah, havent been there in years but I remember it being more sit down hang out type and then at 9 the club started.

I like Posh, it is a club but not a huge one like Mirage. You can also check out Rein in the Garden City Hotel, I have never been but a friend was just telling me that it was good.
If you want more bar type places you can always bar hop down in Long Beach.

I just drove past Mirage on my way to babies R Us. Memories of Sprats (Mirage). I used to go for dinner so we could stay and not pay the cover or if we were not 21 yet.
