Optimistically looking for a new OB --
I was going to a Dr. highly recommended but I don't like his style - he told me that I shouldn't read! 
Anyway I am hoping that my procedure (IUI) worked this month and I will need to find a new OB. Can you recommend anyone - particularly high-risk specialist - in the Levittown/Wantagh/Seaford/Massapequa/Bethpage area? Or an OB who delivers at NSUH/LIJ?
I know I am a total optimisit but I am sure that sooner or later (hopefully sooner) I will need this info... THanks!!

I go to Dr. David Bergman in Great Neck. He is affiliated with NSHU manhasset and is a high risk OB. He is in the same practice as Dr. Marchbein who is the director of Obstetrics at NSUH. FM me if you want the number.
ETA: I know that Dr. Bergman is not in the geographical areas that you wanted. However, he is the most compassionate, funny and knowledgeable OB I have ever had the pleasure to know.

Dina - thanks, actually DH grew up in Great Neck and his parents are still there. Sounds like he would be a good choice for me! Can you FM me his #? Thanks so much!
Ohhh you don't know if he takes United, do you? Never mind, I'll look him up on the insurance web site.

Dr. Bergman is my doctor and I delivered at NS Manhasset. and I know he is high risk although I wasn't a high risk patient.
The entire practice is wonderful... There main office is in Great Neck but they have a Satellite office in Woodbury on Froelich Farm Blvd( by Geico). This was 5 minutes from my house.. where I went to most of my appointments except for the big ones which I went to Great Neck...
Let me know if you want the number.

I am seeing the Dr.'s at Great Neck Obstetrics. They are affiliated with NSLIJ. The drs that i know of there are dr. nimoroff & dr. victor klein. they came really highly recommended from lots of people and my fertility dr. at nsuh. i know there are like 7 drs. in the rotation there and they specialize in high risk. 516-466-0778

I use this practice too (in great Neck). Melissa Oppenheim is my OB and I love her!
