What color Red
Hi all..I want to paint our foyer red/dark burgundy and maybe 1 wall in the living room..i have those benjamin moore samples in one section and it is just so hard to tell. What benjamin moore color red did people use in there home? Thanks!

I used BM Audobon Russet. It's a pretty popular red.

we have a burgandy in the dining room and another burgandy in the office, i'll have to check on the names.
i would be cautious using red in the foyer because it will make the area appear smaller and depending on the size of your foyer, closed in.
do you have a pic of the foyer?

We did it. The color is Cherry Cobbler by Behr. This was last night after the 3rd coat. They put on another coat today

We used BM Strawberry Fields...it's probably not as dark a red as you would like though.

we didnt use BM, we used behr, but here's our red room 
(the color is called Currant Jam)
(though, it looks a little more pinkish in the pic than it does in person)

We used "Hodley Red" I don't have a pic. yet, but give me some time and I'll try to post. (it's from the historic colors as well)

we used pottery red in the DR (a deep burgandy color) and redwood (exterior color) in the office. we strarted w/ rasberry truffle in the office but IMO, was too bright so we switched to the redwwod.
#1 is the DR (pottery red on top, timid white on trim, lenox tan on bottom wainscotting).
#2 is the office (a combo of rasberry truffle and redwood).
