Re: Slow Cooker recommendations?
i'd recommend one with a timer..I dont have it on mine, but i wish i did.. sometimes i'll have to have my DH put it on warm before i get home from work..but if he wasnt there to do it, some things would be overcooked

Re: Slow Cooker recommendations?
I really wish I had a timer on mine. That will be a must when this one has to be replaced.

Re: Slow Cooker recommendations?
Is a slow cooker the same thing as a crock pot?

Re: Slow Cooker recommendations?
I have the one where it is a stonewear piece that comes out of the pot and you can bring it right to the dinner table and serve from it. I like it because it is easy to clean, and the stonewear is black and is actually very nice looking. Plus it is a good size and you can make enough for quite af ew people with it.

Re: Slow Cooker recommendations?
I love mine - it saves so much time! And the best cookbook I've found is called - "Not your Mother's Slow Cooker Recipes" - I highly recommend it. I made Thai pork last week!
