What the name of the website for seeing how much a house sold for in an area?
not zillow... it's another one. can't remember it!!!

I don't know the name of the site you are referring to, but I know if you go on Coldwell Banker's website, under the Learn section, there's a choice called Neighborhood information. If you put in the town you are looking at, it will show you recent home sales. I don't think it's specific to Coldwell Banker sales either because I can find my house on there and our house wasn't listed with them.

You can ck Newsday, but it's not updated that often.
You can put in the street name and town, and they'll give you a list of homes sold on that block, and for what price.

It's not always up to date - the house has to close before it's actually updated (it won't give you number's if it's in contract).

Yea, I know… it was just aggravating because I thought I booked marked this site and I didn’t. zillow.com also has comps. And I know for a fact that at least 1 of the 10 comps they gave me it accurate because it’s a house we saw and it belonged to our agent. We didn’t bid on it though because it was a fixer. But she told us what it sold for and zillow has the same #

she's sent me 2 seperate emails with a list of comps on each. but most of them didn't close yet so the sold for price is blank.
I want to do my own research too. thank goodness for the internet!
