Another feeding question:

Please help me- Ryan is not eating good at all...

He barely touches any of his meals lately and Im kinda concerned....

Ive tried bottle before- bottle after... no bottle at all- feeding earlier, feeding later- different kinds of foods..

He starts eating, and than loses interest and wants to get out-

Every night the kid is getting like 6 different meals made for him- because I cook like everything under the sun just trying to get him to eat something-

This is not a habit I wanna create- because as he gets older- I will not be making him a special meal every night...

Please help me- I know he was sick- but he is fine now- so whats going on here?

The ped. told me today that this is the age they start this phase so he said make her a plate with a few different things (typically meat, grain, fruit/veggie) and let her eat as much or as little of each as she wants. He said unless she is completely neglecting one food group for a long time not to be concerned. He also said they will have good days and bad days with eating and how much they eat and again unless it goes on long term not to be concerned.

Katherine barely eats any fruits or vegetables and my doctor said it wasn't a concern and that babies have a way of self-regulating what they need, nutrition-wise. He also said babies go through phases like that.

He did suggest starting her on a vitamin though.
