How much do real Christmas trees cost?
Last year we bought a tree in a pot for $30, and planted it after. We just want a small tree--is it cheaper to get a cut one?

I've spent anywhere between $20-40 on average sized christmas trees. I never went with anything fancy -- just something full and the right size for my apartment.

We bought our tree for $50 in Connecticut yesterday....all of the trees are the same price, no matter how big or small.

Cut trees always seem so expensive to me. The sings say $20 & up, but we usually spend about $45. On place we went they were closer to $60!

We got an 8ft tree yesterday and it cost us $80  - I live in Chicago - things are always overpriced in a city...
