Looking for a good colorist in Suffolk County!
I need to get my highlights done before school starts. Does anyone have a good colorist that they would recommend? I need a good haircut too!
(I live in Sayville but I will travel!) Thanks!

Last time I had highlights done, I went to T. Carlton's in St. James. I used Melissa Owen, but they're all really good there.

All the girls in my family (Mom, Me & 2 sisters) use Jess at the Hollywood Salon & Spa in Miller Place.
I live in Levittown and drive out there for her. She is wonderful and does a great job!

i LOVE kelly at nouvelle in babylon village. they changed their name recently and can't remember it. something w/ a "P". might be Posh. i have been to SO many colorists in the past and would w/o reservation recommend her. she REALLY listens and i always love the results.

I used to use her when I lived in LI. She is great.

Michelle at symmetry in stony brook is awesome! I had my hair highlighted (somewhere else) the week of my wedding and it was HORRIBLE! I was so upset about it! She was so nice, she fixed it and it looked better than it ever had before that!

It's on the border of nassau/suffolk, but I go to Jason Royce and I see Eddie for color..
I just got it done and looooooveee my color..

I live in NYC but I travel to my parents to get my hair cut/colored at Salon on Main in Sayville by Lisa. It is in the shopping center across from Friendly's. have been going to Lisa since high school and she is great. I always get compliments on my color. the only thing is that I don't know if she is taking new clients.

I just went to a new colorist last month at Spa 85 in Bay Shore. Her name was Mary and everyone said she did a good job on my hair.
