Usually I buy books and CDs. I've been looking at some baby stuff to buy, but the sellers charge outrageous shipping fees for larger items (Like $58 for a stroller  )

shoes (brand new steve madden boots that I have had my eye on for the longest time), stuff for the home, hard to find collectables, stuff for my ferret, tons of wedding stuff, odds and ends of things like winnie the pooh contact case with travel accessories, earings, and the italian charms for the italian charm bracelet.

Jenn, I got my wedding cameras that were horrible too on there, but Ive also gotten amazing things, you cant judge one seller for the whole thing. 
I sell A LOT of stuff on E-bay and I wouldnt want people to get a bad impression of me as a seller b/c of another idiot selling crap..lol

a B&W condenser enlarger and aceessories cureently collecting dust in my mom's garage  )
craft supplies
a dvd here and there
antique collectibles (mostly toys my mom had as a child)
a book (from donna!)
that's all I can think of... I think only 25 or so items ever

I've been selling and buying off eBay for years and not once have I had a bad experience. I agree, it is all based on the individual sellers/buyers, eBay as a whole is awesome.
Buy:
shoes, holiday/birthday gifts, lots of wedding stuff - jewelry, girls gifts, candle and guest book
Sell:
Books, video games & player guides
ETA to add invaluable wedding purchases!!
