Repost from Preg: What to pack and when?
I am 30 weeks and was wondering when I should start getting things together for the hospital trip. Also, since everyone here has given birth before what do you recommend packing?

I think I had my bag packed by 34 weeks. I had 3 night gowns, a robe, slipper socks, a few pairs of granny panties, my own maxi pads (always plus super overnights are the best), an outfit for me to go home in, some bottles of shampoo and conditioner,brush, lotion, toothpaste and toothbrush, mouthwash, make up, flip flops for the shower. Oh and my cord blood kit.
Let your DH and family bring the non-necessities such as the camera, batteries ,whatever.

i started packing at 35 weeks...while friends made fun of my anal nature....I had the baby unexpectadly at 36 weeks! so I was glad that at midnight...while home alone and my water broke, i wasn't packing my bag!!!
BRING SOCKS,SLIPPERS,PADS,SNACKS,LIP BALM,LOTION.......
