we have been in the process of a home equity loan and they said it should be finalized by the end of this month so it has taken us 2 months but it depends alot on your credit and all those factors. good luck.

These are very easy to get since they require you to put your house down as collateral.
If you have good credit... your interest rate could be below prime.
