How to introduce stage 2 foods

Do you have to do it in a certain order?

Go through all the fruits first, then all the veggies and then try the meats / mixed foods?

Re: How to introduce stage 2 foods

I mixed the fruit and veggies together first for like a few days to get Julia use to it, then I went and added the meats to it.

Mix like the Stage two fruit into the Stage one fruit and then gradually go to just ALL stage two?

Sorry, I'm really dense about some of these things!Chat Icon

Your not dense, it is a little confusing starting new foods. Well I just went from stage one to stage 2. I didnt mix one stage with another, I would mix 1/2 jar of stage 2 veggie with a 1/2 jar of stage 2 fruit, I did that for like a week, then I got the meats and would mix a little of that with the veggie and fruit. Hope that helps!

Re: How to introduce stage 2 foods

I did fruits and veggies at the same time but each time I tried something new I waited 3 days for allergy sake. Something new meaning something not in the stage one foods for example- blueberries. I also only gave 1/2 jar for the fist few wekks of giving stage 2 because Bryan has bad reflux and thats all he could tolerat- gradually I moved up to a whole jar. I just started introducing meats the other day and I do 1/2 jar of meat dinner with 1/2 jar of vehetable that was the only way he would take meat it without gagging.
