Need some advice re colors/curtains (pics included)
This is a swatch of some fabric I saw tonight and liked for my kitchen. I'd make a Roman shade for the window and drapes for the sliding glass doors.
This is part of the kitchen- the colors are the same throughout (deep green on top, a barely-off-white on the bottom.
I love the colors- in person the color that looks pinkish is more terra-cotta and I think it would go well with my casual china (cream, green, rust, pale terra cotta) but I am concerned about how the gold would look against the white on the bottom part of the walls. Any input would be appreciated.

I really like it! I don't think I'd be worried about the contrast...the fabric has white in it (right?) and the white wall would pick that up I think.

What a beautiful toule (sp?). I think I would paint the bottom part of the wall a pale beige/yellow to go with the fabric.

Love the toile BUT I dont think it will look right with the white. the base of that toile is gold or a yellow tone? the white on the wall is too stark for that contrast AND I think you are introducing too many colors with the toile with the green and white walls. I would def antique the white on the walls to give it a warm feel to use with that fabric, then you can def use all the colors without the white standing out. Great choice in fabric. I love french country!!!
