Is spotting and cramping normal?
I had some brown spotting this morning and I'm a little crampy? Should I call the doctor?

As long as the spotting is brown not red.
The brown spotting is just old blood.
I had cramping in the beginning for a couple of weeks, it was normal

Cramping is very normal. I had the worst cramps I ever experience the first couple of months.

i have been spotting ALOT, pink and brown, every day since 6 weeks. i am 9 weeks today.
i have been having sonos every week because of it and so far, everything looks ok.
i have been told that spotting is not necessarily "normal", but it is definitely not uncommon - it is still scaring the sh** out of me!!!
i have also had cramping - i think that is very common.
don't panic, i'm sure everything is fine....how far along are you?

I'm only 4w1day!! Very early! I'm going for a sono end of next week.

I have had off and on brownish pink spotting and all seems to be fine with me too..
Doc says its probably old blood.
I notice it seems to happen shortley after a bowl movement somtimes ( sorrry tmi)

I had tons of cramping around 4 weeks. I didn't have any spotting, but my cousin spotted her entire first trimester and was fine. I would say keep rested and hydrated.

I still have brwin spotting and am amlost 12 weeks.
As long as it is NOT red.
Call the DR. if you feel more comfortable.

Thanks ladies!
I had to call the nurse about my prescription for my prenatals so I just asked her. She said there's nothing they can do this early, I just have to relax and wait for my u/s next week. She said that's its not normal, but not uncommon. I guess I'll just take all the great advice given!!!
