belly sleeping
Now that ds can roll over I sometimes find him on his belly sleeping. He has good head control so I did not worry much. However last night I found himon his belly with his head smooched in the matress face down. He has a habit of rubbing his face in the mattress or the side of the swing.
My husband told me to turn him on his back, I wanted to let him be and see what he did. He stayed like that for about a minute and then continued torub his face in the matress until dh yelled "are you going to wait till he suffocates"
What to do flip him on his back every time he is face down on his belly or let him be?
Will he know to turn his face when he can't breathe?
SO confusing I was staring at him all night!

Re: belly sleeping
My DD use to do this she would smoosh up against the bumpers and sleep also sleep on h er belly with face in the mattress and was fine with it. I would sit there and stare at her and check on her constantly but no matter how much I moved her s he would go right back to the same position
