Fake bag?
I like the new Coach Scribble line but cannot afford to spend that much on a bag. I checked on Ebay and won won for less than half the price. I just got it. The seller said it was real, it came with a bag and serial number, etc, but the inside lining does not have the "C's" that I have in my other Coach bags. Otherwise, it looks authentic, I would never tell. Should I pursue it by going to look in Coach stores and contacting the seller or just keep the bag that may or may not be real since I did not spend nearly as much as I would have in the stores or ourlets?

My little coach is real but doesn't have c's in it. Can you get in trouble for buying a fake? I wouldn't want you to goto the store asking and get in trouble.

Really? I have 3 other Coach bags and they all have C's. It looks real, it was just the inside lining that had me questioning it. I am scared to go to the store in case it is not real and I do get in trouble!

just so you know.... all sellers on eBay MUST say it is "authentic" in their auction now otherwise it will be taken down.
its probbly a fake. they have fake serial numbers now too.
but as long as you like it is what matters!

Daniela, call 888-262-6224, that is Coach's 800#. Tell them you got the bag as a gift and are wondering if it is real or not. (If you tell them you bought it on Ebay, they will probably tell you it is fake.)Give them the serial # inside the bag, they should be able to tell you.
It is definitely possible to get real designer products on Ebay, you just have to be careful. I have 3 Coach bags, one does not have the CC lining- and I got that one from the store.

Or, go to the store, without your bag, ask to look at the bag in the store, check out the insides and see if ti has the c's inside of it!

Thanks to Rebecca's suggestion, I called Coach with the serial number, and the number matched Coach's and the bag they described is the one I bought.

Just as an FYI - I have a friend who works at Coach and she advised me to take any bought on ebay to the store and they will verify if it is real. You won't get in trouble.
I was also going to add I have 2 new Coach bags from this summer - the scribble and a stripped one and neither have C's in the lining. I bought them both at a Coach store.
