We are re-doing the floor in our kitchen. We are putting down Pergo. My question is this: In the main hallway that leads to the kitchen, we have the Maple colored Pergo, would it look bad if we put down the Cherry floor in the kitchen? As it is now, there is linoleum that is hideous. The cherry would be beautiful in the kitchen I just worry about how it will look next to the lighter wood. The actual space in which there would be the "seam" is only about 3 feet.

Has anyone ever put two different colored hardwood floors next to each other?
