Why does Wal-mart have such a bad rep when it comes to the people who shop there? In Virginia Wal-mart is awesome. They have a uper store where it's the supermarker on one side & the regualr Wal-Mart on the other end.

So I said, I do I get Marissa's snacks & stuff there. Then she said because of the people that shop there. Seriously I had no clue. They had to tell me all about it. I learned soemthing new that day.

The one by my office has some shady people shopping in there. Plus, every time I have been there, I have caught someone putting their shopping cart behind or right next to my car so I would have to move it. That's one of my biggest pet peeves!

I shop there, but I've found that Target is so much nicer, cleaner, and better organized, and the prices are about the same. I definitely wear the fur for Target. But probably the fake fur Mossimo coat I bought there!

I think it depends on the Area.
Near us in NJ, if you go to Target (said with the French accent!) you are "stuck-up" and if you go to Wal-Mart you are "white trash".
I personally go to both, so I guess I'm stuck up white trash!!
I my parents home town in Delaware, going to Wal Mart means you are rolling in the dough!! Everyone else has to go to Big Lots!

this is true, ours is "nice" (as nice as Walmart can be LOL  ) there is one in Cobleskill that is even "nicer"

I personally don't shop at Wal Mart- I guess I am a stuck up Target girl- b/c I am in that store 2 times a week
but - my Dad loves Wal Mart and says the people he sees there- are beyond funny
I do a lot of business with Wal Mart and they are much nicer out of the tri-state area
