JHS question - Top Point vs. Hair Village
I know you all rave about TP but I've heard good things about Hair Village also.
Has anyone been to both and preferred one over the other??????
I'm biting the bullet and doing it with a girlfriend........its only taken me 3 years

Only been to Top Point-But I know a few people on here have been to Hair Village.
I was very happy with Top Point and I am def. going to go back there to get it done again-I have never been so happy before. My hair takes no time now!

I have only been to Top Point, and they were great. From what I have heard, Hair Village does a great job too, but it seemed like you don't get the same personal attention as at Top Point - search for BabyAvacado's post about Hair Village - her hair came out great, but she had to dry her hair herself, keep track of time herself, that sort of thing. And it sounded like it was a bit more chaotic.

I dry my hair all the time - I want someone else to do it I also have 2 kids to keep track of......I want a day where I don't have to watch the clock.
Looks like Top Point is a better choice.

No, LOL. Its something I've been toying with for 3 years. I was going to go before my wedding but chickened out and then I got preggo so obviously I couldn't do it.
Now my girlfriend wants to do it - I figure it'll be good to go with someone to help pass the time. She has gone to Hair Village but with all the talk of Top Point we may go there.
I waved to your house yesterday.....took Ava for a walk :) If you're ever up for a walk with the kids let me know. I'd love to have ya as a buddy :)

I went to Hair Village at 9am on a weekday (I think it was a friday) - they dryed my hair for me cause it wasnt too crowded. The price was great (150) and the people were very nice. I think it took 4 hours.
prices ranged from 150 to 190 (i think) based on how long your hair was and how thick it is.

Hair village is in woodside. It is a half a block from the Woodside LIRR.
