Soooooo depressed and need hugs!! I fell in LOVE with a house we cant afford
This is the PERFECT house for us and in the EXACT location I wanted ( I mean down to the block!!) I fell in love with it and DH says there is no way we can afford it right now.
I am heartbroken and actually cried all night about it

I know how you feel!  One of the 1st houses we saw I fell in love with but it was over our budget. I keep checking up on it to see if it sold yet which I am only torturing myself because we still can't afford it.
I think when it finally does sell I will be completely heartbroken because a little piece of me is still holding out on hope that just maybe....

I know how you feel, we looked at a few out of our price range and then I vowed NOT to look at anything that we couldn't afford b/c you do tend to fall in love with what you can't have. Don't torture yourself!!

I am going thru the same thing right now, we saw a house that was just phenominal and so perfect for us .. but no matter how much we worked the numbers, it was just not in the cards for us
You'll FIND that house, its frustrating but you will find it

Thanks everyone!!!
DH said he will do everything in his powers to see if we can do it... but the mortgage payments would kill us and I can not live like that. I feel much better today but still sad!
I would post a pic but I think I would just get upset all over again.

Maxine,
I know how frustrating it is.... DH and I went thru that. and although the house we're getting is ridiculously priced, we can do it only because its in qns with low taxes, and not a long island home with high taxes.

I've had my moments of feeling like that as well....after feeling bad, I'd just think to myself, "maybe we can't do it now, but someday I will have that home (I'm giving myself 10 years)".
