Prayers please, I think my Dad is dying....
Hi,
I am sorry for posting when it seems like i need something. My life has just been very bad lately. I know a lot of us are going through pretty horrible ordeals.. I have you all in my prayers and look on every day to see how you are all doing. I may not publiclly announce I am praying, but I am and you are all in my thoughts and prayers every day.
I just found out that the Dr's recommended to my Mom today that she should consider getting a hospital bed for the house. They did not say Hospice, but she said they were trying not to, but were hinting at her that that is where it looks like things are going with my Dad. As some of you may know, he had Esophageal Cancer two years ago. It has since come back to his liver and lungs. He has been hospitalized 4 times in the last month due to constant pain.. They did more test today and said they found a tumor in his stomach and a level of something (pardon my ignorance here) in his blood that is consistant with bone cancer.
We are going over there now to see my Mom since she is not taking this too well.. She has been extremly faithful and positive up to this point and her nor my sister ever wanted to believe this could happen. I, on the other hand, have faced this horrible scenario when he was first diagnosed and have come to accept it, as hard as it is.
Please, please keep my Dad and my family in your prayers. I know a lot of you have lost parents, I will need you...

Denise -
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I have no idea why people are made to suffer like this - it's truly heartbreaking to hear about - but heartwrenching when it's someone you love.
I hope Ava was some comfort to him this past year & that he can see that his spirit will live on through you & her.
