Does your company give out holiday gifts??

i work in a hospital and every year all of the employees get the same thing, a turkey, a HUGE frozen turkey! last year i donated mine to a shelter. i wish they would come up with something different!

what kind of gifts do you get??

I work in a hospital too and get the same thing. They must get a deal on Turkeys. I have yet to ever pick one up but in addition to the turkey they usually give a little something else. This year it was a thermest

I got an email yesterday morning saying we can pick up our holiday gift on Monday - it will be included in our January paycheck as Taxable Income. I love it. Why not just give me money. It is my first (and certainly last) year in this job.

I don't get a gift, usually I get $100 or so.

Last year, my mother's boss gave her a Coach bag. LUCKY!

My SIL already got her present from her boss this year - tix to see John Edwards tonight at Westbury.

I am a teacher, so I get lots of cute things from my students.

another turkey here....

mine also gives a gift to your kid which is nice. It's usually a toy and an adult size bag, shirt and hat with the hospital logo.

In addition to all the adorable gifts I get from the kids in my school, we get cash in a card. I was very freaked out my first year teaching there. I felt like a prostitute. It was just a letter sitting on my desk that said Happy Holidays with a hundred bucks in it

We get nothing. ZERO. No bonus. No gift. No card.

We arranged our own Secret Santa and paid for our own holiday party.

My new job starts on 1/9.

We get a goofy party favor type thing on the day they give us sandwiches in our boardroom. That's it

My company doesn't give anything. As a matter of fact they closedthe company for a whole week unpaid two holidays ago! Ahhh yeah no bonus actually we're not going to pay you at all. However I have attorneys as clients and I've gotten a Coach bag, gift cards to Saks and a tiffany pen in the past.

My boss is bringing lunch on Monday.
Then maybe a small get together..
I sometimes get gifts from my parents of my students but that is rare.

besides the christmas party, we got a bonus.
I love my company.

Those of you with turkeys you don't want should consider donating them to Island Harvest. They are still running their Turkey and Trimmings Campaign and need a lot of turkeys for the rest of the holidays (I volunteer there a lot).

Typically...we get a christmas bonus and then also a VERY nice holiday party for all with our spouses included.....I think it's more then generous of them what they do!!

Oh, I forgot, we also get a really nice bottle of champagne!

We get bonus'.
We get a holiday party at a reception hall.
Our main boss gives us a luncheon.
Our manager either takes us out to dinner or gives us a gift.
