anyone get their hair colored w/ NON permanent color?

How long do you find it to last? How often do you get it done? Can it dry out your hair if you do it too often? and anyone know the difference between semi and demi permanent color?

I used to but it never lasted long enough for me....too many grays!! If you hari doesnt grow fast, if you arent in florestant lights or bright sunlight alot...it should last you at least a month or 2...mine looked washed out after 3 weeks!!

I have my hair done with semi permanent color.
It is a lot more gentle on my hair and I go around every 6-8 weeks ( I have gray hair that tries to poke its way in)

My hair stays pretty healthy and I am a serial blowdrying queen. ( curly to straight)

The only drawback is that I do a dk/brown with like a deep red/ burgundyish tone and it bleeds all over my towels the fist 2- 3 weeks after I get out of the shower. I wash my hair every other day.
It washes right out of the towels though.

I used to have highlites which I miss but the bleach kills my hair.

I love it!
