How do you describe the feeling (1st trimester) to someone who has never been through this?
A little background. I quit smoking when I found out I was preggo. This morning, DH asked me if I felt better since I quit. I said that I haven't really had time to think about it since I was feeling so many different things. I said it felt like dull cramps. Then of course realizing that he has never experienced cramps (duh!) I said it feel like continuous gas pains. How would you describe it other than "just different"? Oh, I am 7 weeks tomorrow.

Thank you for posting this...
Today I am 5 weeks and 1 day and I keep waiting to feel pregnant. It is really hard to describe. I have cramps, but mostly it feels like pressure on my lower abdomen. My dr. told me that it's my uterus already starting to expand. My boobs have def become more sensitive and 2 nights ago I had to sleep in a sports bra bc they were KILLING me. I even think they are starting to get bigger. However, last night, I had no cramps and my boobs felt fine. So of course I began to worry.
Then I woke up this morning and my boobs are back to being sensitive like they were the other night and I had some of that "pressure" on my way to work.
Saturday I started to feel a little queezy and that went away and this morning the queeziness started again. Although it could be nerves, because work has been TERRIBLE lately.
DH is dancing on air and couldnt be happier and I feel like I can't relax until we have the 1st sono which is 2 weeks from today.
I keep wondering if what I am feeling is normal and I guess I just need constant reassurance that I'm fine.
Sorry for such a long post but I guess its hard to sum up how being pregnant feels in just a few words

I explain in like this and everyone seems to be able to empathsize - It feels like I'm hungover and just won't go away.

Yes, exactly! I just feel off. It is so bizarre! But then there are other times where I feel totally normal and almost forget! Ah, the joys of being preggo!
