Mommies to be that are 35+ weeks...

Are you exhausted? I am tired everyday and not sleeping well at night. If I have one more smart @$$ tell me "get used to it, hahaha" or "enjoy what little sleep you have now because you won't get any once she is here...hahaha" I will slap someone. Chat Icon
I am so uncomfortable and want this baby out! She has 19 more days to "cook" but the heartburn and sleeplessness are horrible. Sorry to vent and complain I am just so uncomfortable.

Is anyone else feeling like this?

ETA: I am 37 weeks

I'm 32 weeks and having TERRIBLE pain in my groin and joints and I'm so tired! I can't be, though! I still have 7.5 weeks left!

Re: Mommies to be that are 35+ weeks...

I'm at the end of my 37th week and I know exactly what you mean. I felt like I was incredibly irritated and impatient the last couple of weeks and wanting the baby out, but something has happened this week where I feel like my perspective has shifted. Rather than being 4 weeks away now it's really only two or two and half weeks away and I suddenly don't feel so impatient anymore. Though it is ridiculously uncomfortable all the time and very painful and I don't understand how everyone says enjoy your sleep now when the truth is you already can't get any and can't really enjoy what little you get b/c it's so painful to lay in most every position - ugh!

I'm almost 38 weeks and I admit take a nap every afternoon for an hour or so while my son takes his nap! I don't sleep as good at night anymore because I am up with heartburn or peeing, so its a very restless night most of the time.

Thanks girls. Chat Icon
It makes me feel better to know I am not crazy. Well, it's 9:16 and past my bedtime. I'm off to bed.
Thanks again. If I am up at 3AM with heartburn, I'll come back. Chat Icon

yea, same here ... really bad groin pain, i guess it's stretching, but boy does it hurt! i stand up and it's like i'm paralyzed or something, i'm afraid to take a step b/c i dont think one leg will hold me! it's awful! but after a few steps it goes away
