#7= NOT lucky- LONG
Well, had my tx on 12/15. We transferred 4 embryos, 3-7cells, and 1-6 cell. Three of those were of excellent quality, one so-so.
Four days after tx I woke up with a fever of 102 and a dry hacking cough. Then came the chills, body aches, etc. I called the clinic and they said I could take Tylenol, so that is what I did. After a few days I still wasn't improving, so I called and they told me to see my PCP. It was the afternoon of 12/23, so I figured I wouldn't even be able to get an appt, and DH and I decided to wait till after the holidays.
Well, X-mas eve I started feeling worse, and woke up at 1am on X-mas day violently puking. Couldn't hold anything down, and my temp was 103. Dh rushed me to the hospital (in that crazy fog, scary!). When they took me into triage my pulseox was only 89. Right then I knew...pneumonia 
They tried to admit me, but I wasn't having it. I wouldn't let them do any X-rays, even after they did a beta and it was 0 (I was hoping it was too early, my beta was set for 12/27). After an IV with fluids and antibiotics, a nebulizer treatment and oxygen, they let me go home.
And, of course my beta on 12/27 was BFN.
So, I spoke to my RE this morning, and after telling him all that happened, he agreed that the pneumonia could have had an effect on the outcome of this cycle. He suggested changing my protocol to estrogen priming since my response has been diminishing anyway. My FSH is still good, and since I am only 38 (hah!), he still thinks I have a shot.
So, looks like IVF#8 is in the works...

I hope you are feeling better though from the pneumonia!!
You know we are all here for you when you go for #8! No offense to any of the other ladies on this board but I believe you are the strongest one of us!!!
No matter what you are given you always manage to work through it and go on, I find your strength amazing!!

I agree whole heartedly with Donna. Lisa you are so strong and so determined. On top of that you are so kind and supportive. I always go to you, for information and sound advice.
Lisa, you and I have already talked, and I believe you know how upset I was to hear about the bfn. I have you in my prayers all the time. May you be blessed with a baby on this next round...
I hope you are feeling better from the pneumonia ! NO MORE WALKING IN THE SNOW :) ...

Lisa, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry you wee so sick, how completely horrible...and I'm sorry that this cycle was not successful. I wish I could say something to make you feel better, but I just want to send some and say I hope you're feeling better.

Lisa,
All I can add are my sympathies with everyone else. I don't know how you keep doing it, your strength is amazing.
I hope that this next IVF is it for you...you deserve it more than anyone I know.

I honestly dont know what to say. Nothing can probably ease the frustration youfeel, but Im rooting for you. You have a great attitude and that means your gonna be a great mom some day and I am praying it comes soon for you. Im so sorry this journey seems to be SO LONG for you. IT must be unbearable at times. But You will be blessed for your patience...
