sex question
How long did you wait to jump in the hay after giving birth ? I'm petrified....did it hurt? I had baby 9 weeks ago. Poor DH is being soooo patient.

A couple of days after the 6 week checkup. The Dr joked that my DH had called to say he was home waiting for me. 
I had a c/s and it still hurt but I got through it  Does anyone know WHY it hurts??

I had a c-section and i was told once the bleeding stopped i could go back to "normal bedroom activities". Bleeding stopped on day 7 and i was back to "normal activities" by day 10.
My Dh was more scared about it then i was. I have felt great since four days after having Kaylee. My Dr. is amazing.

Me too, we wasted no time I bled very little after my c/s and went for it. It didn't hurt, but it was weird trying to get DH not to lean on my incision (TMI!)

I had an episiotomy, so I was terrified. I stopped bleeding maybe after 2.5 weeks, but was still sore down there until about 5 weeks. We resumed activity a few days before my 6 weeks check up.

Wow I'm surprised that people were given the okay to go for it earlier. I was told nothing goes "in there" for six weeks!

I was given the ok on my 6 week check up and I am not going to lie to you it hurt and after that I waited a few weeks and it still hurt

We didn't do it for at least after the 6 week postpartum checkup. I bled for 6 weeks after my c-section and then a week later I got AF. So it was probably around 9 weeks after.

Went for my checkup just shy of 5 weeks got the go ahead but was told by the nurse to feel free to lie to Dh about it if I wasen't ready!
Came home from the visits with various methods to make sure Jack didn't get a brother or sister and as stayandjohn put it so nicely.."it was on" and no problems. We didn't want to waste any time since family was coming into town for the christening and Dh was leaving the country...

Once the doctor gave us the green light, the night of my 6 week appointment. Yes, it HURT, which sucked (almost made it feel like it wasn't worth the wait), but the second time wasn't so bad.

I didnt feel back to normal for awhile... at the 6 week check up my hubby was eager.. but we held off a little longer... I was VERY in the mood my entire pregnancy... amazing how its soup to nuts!

we waited a long time...probably about 10 weeks....but we weren't in that sort of mood because our baby was in the hospital....but even after 10 weeks I still felt alot of pressure...I had, had a c-section...thats probably why.

After my 6 week check up. I went back again at 8 weeks because there was still pain. I had torn my cervix really badly, and ithere was alot of scar tissue. No pain now whatsoever!
