Oil Heat Question

So I know with oil prices going up it is expensive to heat your home but will I get to look forward to a very small oil bill in the summer or do they round out the price and you pay one price all year round?

Re: Oil Heat Question

In other words, you can either pay around $480 every month or 2 months during the winter months and then pay a minimal amount in the summer or like $200ish every month of the year?

I am confused... Chat Icon

Re: Oil Heat Question

The oil company predicted how much we would need in 1 year, and put us on a budget.. se we pay less than $200 a month, all year round. If they overestimate and you pay too much come year end, they will apply that money towards next year and lower your budget for the next year.

Re: Oil Heat Question

We are on budget and pay $143/month. We pay every month and it is the same. Our contract is up in April and then, hopefully the price will not go up!!
