Plus Size Mommies- re: weight gain
okay we are TTC bw but i am really concerned/about how much weight i will gain? is it true that plus size woman dont gain that much during pregnancy?
i'm a size 18 and i'm just worried what i will look like afterwards... i know everyone gains weight when they are prgenant just wondering if we will gain 30-40lbs too or is it less becuase we already have the added weight on?

I think every woman is different. I gained 15lbs during my pregnancy.

I gained less than 20 and since I had gestational diabetes towards the end of my pregnancy, I started to lose weight before I even had the baby (I lost weight due to the diet they had me on)

I didn't gain anything during my pregnancy. I lost a LOT in the beginning and was down to my High School weight  and I gained back a few towards the end but still ended up even.

W/ my son I lost weight in the beginning & then only gained about 24 lbs.
W. the twins I lost 30 lbs in the beginning & then lost count on how much I gained. but, I had ALOT of fluid.

Everyone is definitely different. I gained 40 pounds and I am still struggling to lose it. I didn't go crazy eating no stop either. You just have no idea how your body will handle pregnancy.
My other friend who is plus size has been sick since day one and at 23 weeks still has actually lost weight, not gained.

I gained 2.5 lbs and started pregnancy as a size 18ish and about 2 weeks after he was born, I had to go out and buy size 14 jeans. My body looks better than it did before I had the baby, but my weight is probably almost the same as I was pre-pregnancy

I gained 15 as well. This pregnancy it seems like I'm going to gain even less. 27 weeks along and I've been fluctuating between 1 and 3 lbs gained.
