Washing Baby Clothes....

Did you wash everything?
I am getting ready to start washing but I keep thinking what if the doctor was wrong and it's a boy? I mean we saw on two different occasions that it was a girl but hey you never know.
I was going to wash the newborn adn 0-3 stuff for now and put the rest in the drawers according to size and then wash as she grows?

Re: Washing Baby Clothes....

I would just wash want you need to get through the first week or so and go from there. I had a big baby and some of the stuff I washed didn't fit him and now I cant return it.

Re: Washing Baby Clothes....

I only washed the things I would use for either sex...onesie's, pj's, bibs, hats, etc...

That's exactly what I did. Even though I KNOW it's a boy I only washed 0-3 month stuff.

Re: Washing Baby Clothes....

I agree...I wouldn't wash everything. Just the stuff you'll need for the first week or two.

Re: Washing Baby Clothes....

there was no mistaking the boy part for me, but they made a huge mistake on his weight. He was 10+ pounds (they predicted high 8s), so newborn clothes were useless to me. 0-3 only fit for a few weeks too.

I ended up returning SO MUCH
