Red Eye flight with 5 month old
I am taking a red eye from CA with Jordana in September. I have never flown with her and I am concerned about her crying and bothering other passengers. She is usually a good baby (and a good sleeper). Any suggestions, other than nursing her when she starts to make noise, which I plan to do anyway.
TIA

I don't know how you'll feel about this, but my ped. suggested I give DS some Benadryl in the same situation. He told me exactly how much, and he slept through most of the flight. I was a little uncomfortable with it, but it did work. I've spoken to other people who did the same........

Re: Red Eye flight with 5 month old
I took Noah to the states when he was 4 months old and it went really smoothly. Our first flight was at 10 am so he was pretty much awake for the whole flight, but he loved the attention and the air hostesses were really helpful and held him while I went to the bathroom and stuff. He flirted like mad with them also. The flight was pretty empty so it was easy.
The flight back was a redeye, it left JFK at 6 pm and got into Manchester at 6 am, this flight was worse because it was crowded and very hot. But Noah got tired and slept in the skycot thingy for most of the fliight. My advice would be to just take it as it comes, it was not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be!
When he got antsy and tired and started to make noise, I just walked around the plane....
