nyc spa
does anyone know a nice, not too expensive spa in manhattan, preferably mid to lower east side? my mom, sister, sister-in-law and i want to go get mani/pedis before going to some tea place. any help is appreciated!!!!

The Spa at Chelsea Piers is nice.....its a cool atmosphere....they have the spa and if you spend a certain amount, like $75, you can use all their fitness facilties---It is a prime location if you are driving, right on the pier....then you can shoot up to wherever you need to be.....
Just an idea......
Also, I just went to the Aqua Beauty Bar, more like a salon atmosphere...that was nice and Im pretty sure there are a few...

yeah, but it's not good for a manicure/pedicure - very cramped facilities and limited colors, etc. (refering to chelsea piers)

the mani/pedi station was a little small-2 people for a pedi....-but I got an amazing pedicure there......
for that matter, the Acqua Beauty Bar does not have large mani/pedi stations---they are harder to come by.......
Avon SPa in trump is expensive, a little larger...
