Victoria Secret Clothing
anyone ever purchase clothing from VS?
i saw some cute sweaters and skirts OL but was wondering how the sizes run. it's a PITA if they don't fit because you can't return to the stores.

I ordered shirts from there once. I think the sizes are pretty accurate for shirts... I am not sure about dresses, pants, etc..
I was not crazy about the quality though. A friend of mine ordered a dress from there and looked nothing like the quality it appeared in the magazine.

i call them "1 season clothes" - they look good for about 1 season, then get all shabby.
The tops are cut slim, but very long in the sleeves and torso- too long for me, I had to return them.

I agree 100% The clothes look great in the magazine, I bought a top. The sleeves were really long and they actually stretched. Definitely a 1 season shirt. Now I wear it to bed (it was a cotton shirt...one of those 1 step up from a t-shirt things). On the other hand I bought a plaid skirt from them a LONG time ago and the quality was amazing. it looked new for years!

I do like the long length in their pants, but I agree too, the quality is not good.

I bought a sundress from them and it was HUGE! The sizing is all off...I had to return it! It was very annoying!!!

I bought 2 pairs of pants from VS once. They were the same EXACT pants in 2 different colors. Well, one fit waaaay bigger than the other so yah, I would say their sizing if off.

how is this different from ANY other store. i swear, i have no idea what is happening w/ clothing manufacturers. you try on 2 articles of clothing in the SAME size, different colors and they are cut differently. i am at the point where i am going to say the h e l l w/ it and start walking around naked.

wow good thing i read through all the post before answering. I used to about 4 yrs ago purchased from VS- A LOT I loved their clothes and the sizes were dead on- but I guess it has changed- oh well thanks for the heads up
I stopped shopping there b/c I found similiar styles in H & M/ Charlotte Rouse.
and edited to say I still have the clothes too- the quality I guess was awesome- I still wear my jeans from them and in 4 yrs they have not faded 1 bit! and my sweaters and shirts same thing - still like new!
