how long after you pay for a car do you think you should get it?
I signed for all my paper work and gave them a check for my car on monday and my car is still not ready. they asked me when I signed the papers, when I wanted the car. Does this sound shady to you? this is a nice dealership with a fairly good reputation. when I called they said inspection was the probelm, but you can get that anywhere. then hubby called yesterday night after my calling all day and they told him they are still waiting for the bank. Does this sound right to you? I was already approved.

If you are getting a car in stock you should be able to get it the next day.

FH's parents bought a car on Tuesday night - it was pinstriped Wednesday morning, and was in their driveway at 4pm the same day.
Congrats on the car - what'd you buy?

thats what they told me. I am so ****** I told them if I don't get the car by Friday morning even tough I cannot pick it up I want my money back. Found out an aquaintance works at Sayville Ford does not work on commission which means there is absolutely no pressure for me to buy anything. Im just getting a bad feeling about it.

Congrats on the car - what'd you buy?
the first car I looked at a mercury sable station wagon. Now I am going to be driving a mommy mobile. it fits 8 comfy. plus storage space which I liked. I put a deposit on 3 cars and ended up with this one.
the three cars:
1. this mercury sable
2. 2004 ford taurus 29,000 miles for 10,900.
3. 2002 ford taurus 38,000 miles for 8999.
the first 2 cars were at the same place. when I told the guy I was going to get one of the two he laughed and now I m ****** cause I feel like he was kinda pushing me with the sable. but I kept going back to it. the first one I liked and one I hopefully end up with. but with all this crap going on who knows. myu rent a car had to go back yesterday so I have hubbys van

I drive a sable (not the wagon) - great, reliable car. Very happy with it!
