Looking for new OB/GYN

Hello Ladies,

I was just wondering if you can please recommend a new OB for me... I am currently going to the St. Catherine's office where Michelle Murphy was but I have been seeing the RN Genevieve.... I know Michelle Murphy moved to Smithtown but I am not sure if I want to see her.

Can anyone recommend a female OB please at St. Catherine's or even at St. Charles.

Thank You

Hi,

I just started seeing Michelle Murphy in Jan and I love her. Is there any reason why I shouldn't see her? I know she "left" Dr. Escmilla's practice. please FM me. TIA

Re: Looking for new OB/GYN

I go to Suffolk OB-GYN in Port Jeff. I just started going there this past winter and have only been there twice, but so far so good. I could not believe how quick I was in and out compared to my old place in Smithtown. It was recommended by my coworkers... 4 of which go there, but we all see different doctorsChat Icon Two of my coworkers recently had babies and are very happy with the practice. I see Dr. Richter. Tehy are affiliated with St. Charles.

Re: Looking for new OB/GYN

You could go to Contemporary Women's Care (where Dr. Murphy left). 2 male and 2 female docs along with a nurse practicioner. I've been EXTREMELY happy with the care there down to the office staff and nurses.

862-3770 is the number.

Good luck Chat Icon

The new women out of college is Dr Joyce Rubin. She delivered my daughter and I purposely scheduled my induction with her. She is so fantastic. When you talk to her its as if you are speaking to a girlfriend but with the professionalism of a doctor. During my pg I had to go to get a fetal echocardiogram of my babys heart(at Stonybrook) and the specialist walked into the room and said I do hope you are delivering with Dr Rubin, she is a gifted doctor. She treated me with such warm care during my pg and delivery........I really cannot rave enough.......Paone and Escamilla are wonderful also....

Re: Looking for new OB/GYN

I have Dr. Putterman at University Obstetrics and Gyn in Garden City. She is really good and pretty thorough.
