Another train accident
I just saw this on the news.
Hope everyone got home ok--my father was probably on one of the re-routed trains.

That is very sad...but I don't know how people ignore - or don't notice - the gates....and flashing lights.
Do you think the Wednesday situation was a suicide? What about this?

Hey, Heather...this is like the 4th one in Bethpage! 
I come home that way...its crazy cause I must of just missed it. I wouldnt know how to feel if I saw that.

I know, Deb! I was thinking 5th.
The gates stay down for a really long time there & I guess people get impatient, but 2 of the ones I know of were older men & 1 was a car that stalled on the tracks.

My husband was on one of those trains. They rerouted him to Port Jeff and I picked him up.
He did not get in to port jeff until 8:30pm and he took a 5:40 train our of Penn.
