Getting baby used to the crib
What did everyone do to get the baby to be able to sleep in the crib at night? Connor doesn't really like anywhere except his bouncer, but I'd like to start putting him in his crib at night. I try to put him down for naps during the day in it, but is hardly ever works out. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Can't help, I'm going through the same thing only DD's choice is the swing. I have had minor successes and think it will stick but it never does. DD will be 4 months next week.

Re: Getting baby used to the crib
How long does he sleep when you do put him in his crib? I noticed up until about 3-4 months old I had to make sure he was completely asleep before I could put him down. Another thing you might want to try is a snuggle nest in his crib. He might feel it is to "open" for him. Luka was in his bassinet for 3 months and the only reason I switched him then was because he didnt have any room to move. Once I switched him he explored the whole crib. I tried to put him back in the bassinet once and he was up every hour on the hour.

ditto! DD is 2 months. we try every single time to get her in her crib & it rarely sticks. we almost always end up with her in the swing. but, right at this very moment, she's swaddled up in her crib sleeping! Ped. recommended going back to the swaddle (we stopped a month ago) to make her feel more secure. i hope it works!
